We had our 1st Anniversary, crazy how fast it goes by.
Its been a great year and i cant wait for more to come.

Easter

Todd ran a half marathon a couple of weeks ago and now every time someone comes over

he goes and puts on this outfit, such a silly boy. I was so proud of him and as you can tell he

really enjoyed it.

This is the yurt they stayed in this year. They hiked
about 3 miles up to it and stayed for 3 days.

This is the inside, it has a stove and cabinets and everything!
This one sleeps 8 and they have bunk beds for them.

I cant believe its July and not only that, its halfway through July! Here's some of the latest things we've been up to.

I had to put this on cause i just think Dom looks so dang cute!

Isac had a birthday, i cant believe how old he's getting

It was really fun and tasted great.

Then it was Dad's birthday, Happy Birthday DAD! I had lots of fun

dancing with him at my wedding. This is such a Randee Face.

It was also Todds moms birthday too, its been a birthday month. I made her this flower

cake and took it to her work for a fun surprise, it turned out pretty good.

4th of July weekend we went camping with Brin and Danny. This is us eating cotton candy

Man i haven't blogged forever!!

So why i was away, we got married!! It was wonderful and perfect, best day of my life! I don't have my wedding pictures yet so when i get them ill put some up.

We went on our honeymoon to Cancun and had a blast. We did forget our camera charger, along with many other things. I think when your getting married some one else should pack for you cause i had to many other things to worry about. But anyways, we went on a Mayan adventure one day and a nice man offered to take some pictures for us, i love nice people.

Seasons greeting from the Christmas elf!

Everyone came over to my parents house on Christmas eve for dinner. We had lots to eat and lots of fun, this was the new season favorite cranberry cream cheese. It is so wonderful and i don't even like cranberries.

The whole nativity crew, I told Isac this year was his year to play baby Jesus but he wasn't having any of that. This Christmas was not like any other, only Isac and i were home for Christmas:[ But we still had lots of fun. Our favorite toy was called a wall tumbler, I got pooh and Isac got tiger and you through them on the wall and they race down, stinkin Isac won every time.

Then new years eve arrived along with sev, haley, brin, and danny. What a champ, my dad BBQ burgers in the snow and they were delicious.

Sev getting a perm, why you ask? well you have to ask him cause i don't know.

Dried and fluffed he looked the Kramer, every time i looked at him i had to bust up laughing.

Donuts donuts donuts Gallor, there was quiet the assemble line going to get them just right.

Here was the finish line were we glazed them and sev had to make some cinnamon and then in to our mouths, they sure were yummy.

Then 9 oclock arrived and we had to play tetrus, we played forever until 10 oclock and brin announced we had to run to grandmas. i jumped in the car and a way we went but low and behold there was some one waiting down the lane in dads tractor, Who could it be?

With the surprise of my life Mr. Todd Hawkins was there, drove in a snow storm for 8 hours to bring me a ring. He carried my to his Chariot that was awaiting, got down on one knee and popped the question.

What a wonderful new years eve it ended up to be, we all were surprised! Now were as happy as could be and cant wait til may 8th which is the day it will be.

We headed up to snowbird for Halloween weekend to spend sometime with Todd's family, it was a blast! We went on the tram and swimming and all kinds of fun. Todd is the worst picture taker, i always smile and he always pulls some face or he will smile and then i move, we just cant get any good ones.

We finally got a day off together, HURRAY! So we decided to go hiking, it was so much fun.

I made this diaper cake for a baby shower present, i haven't ever made one before so i was really excited to try it out. I think it turned out really well and i had a great time making it.

I got the cutest material to make this sweet blanket and headband, i love it. Now if the baby would just come already, i could see how cute they really are with a sweet little baby in them.

Home Again Home Again

This was the ugly mug to welcome us home. This is the new severin, he changes his facial hair weekly so i have no idea what he looks like now but i don't like severin with facial hair. I wish the old severin would return to me, i know haley would second that motion, any one else say I?

Took the Todd home to the farm, he learned all kinds of new things. One most important thing he learned was to set a siphon, I was so proud.

Then we set out to the wonderful lake of moses. It was lots of fun, Todd got up on skies first time ever. He was pretty stiff and kept pulling the rope up, great for entertainment purposes.

Second test was to see how well Todd could handle his self on the tube. Crazy dad was trying to kill us, as you can see from the picture below.

we really thought we were going to die.

I had so much fun at home and cant wait till thanksgiving when the whole fam will be home and the most important, the Dom.

OK so along time ago i blogged about doing Brins wedding cake and said i would let you know when the wonderfulness happened, well it happened and here it is. It wasn't the easiest thing i have ever done but it all worked out in the end and Brin was happy. The last few months Brin kept saying, " Are you sure you can make my cake, are you sure?" i kept reassuring her it would be fine so I'm glad she approved.

And then they sailed away to Mexico, to start there happily ever after story.

March Moments

March started out with a bang, this crazy lady turned 50!

I cant believe my mom is 50 but i will say this for her, she looks dang good for her age and i hope i can look at least half as good as she does when I'm 50. Happy Birthday Mom, i love you. So my mom came up for about a week around her birthday, i better correct myself cause i know you are mom, she came down to visit us in Utah. My mom and i were talking one day about this crazy world and i made the comment that if anything ever happened i would walk to her. I was ponder what i had said one night and it hit me, i would be more then willing to walk miles and miles to get to my mom but was i willing to walk miles and miles and miles to get to Christ. My answer was yes i most definitely would and this conclusion lead me to think that Christ isn't here right now asking me to literally walk to him but i should be taking steps in his direction every day by doing the little things i can be doing each day to get closer to him so that eventually when he does ask that of me i will have already been walking in his direction. So my question to each of you is, Are each of you doing the things you need to be doing to take a step closer to Christ and would you be willing to walk to him?

So the next moment that happened in march was, I decided to take a cake decorating class. It was a four week class and it was alot of fun.

Moving on, I wish that spring would just get here already. I want warm weather so i can go for walks and play tennis but mostly i just am ready to see some flowers and the wonderful colors that spring brings.

This is way over due but here it is........

I'm not a fan of the cold, so i have never wanted to go snowboarding. But i guess there is a time to try new things and i just happened to get a great story out of this new adventure.

I was going snowboarding and was surprisingly excited. I wore 3 pairs of socks, 3 pairs of pants, 1 tank top, 2 long sleeve shirts, 3 sweatshirts, 1 coat, 3 beanies, 2 pairs of gloves, and 1 bandanna. Like i said, i hate being cold!

So Brin and I are just having a jolly time, falling, laughing, and falling some more. I think it took us an hour or longer to get down the stupid hill, we thought we were having a hard time, little did we know what awaited us down the hill.

We get down the hill to find danny injured, Yes he ran into a tree!

This is the best part of the whole thing, the crazy nurse pictured here ^^^

She walks in and announces to us, that she is so tired and hopes she is able to do this, puts us all at easy. Then danny asks " im so hot, can i take off some of my clothes?" Crazy nurse responds " yea you can take some of your clothes off." Danny, "really?" Loopy nurse, "well.. within reason."

And my favorite quote of the night, danny, " how did that happen to the top of my head?" Nurse Patty, " It looks like it just Blew open."

Super Bowl Sunday

I've never been a huge fan of the Bowl, except for the one year the Titans were in it and they didn't even win for me. But i am a huge fan of seating around and eating good food while watching the game. So all i wished for this year was for a good game, good food, and a great office. All me wishes came true, we had lots of good food to eat and way to much like always, the game was really intense all the way to the end, i just wish it would have ended a little different, and the office. What can i say it was all kinds of crazy, which is why i love it!

It's the life

When i was a sophomore in high school i had to go down to the dreaded Lampson stadium to play a soccer game. It was dreaded because we had to play on turf, now i'm not talking about the nice turf that they have now, it was like playing on cement. I was a forward and my job was to score, no matter what, which usually intelled me sliding on the grass and getting lovely raspberry's all over my legs. My dad use to tell me that girls legs were meant to be pretty so i needed to take care of them better. It was a known fact that you should not slide on this turf. Well me being the smart person that i am and always listening to my fathers wise counsel, i did not slide on the turf. NOT! Of course when your a real soccer player you don't think about stuff like that, you sacrifice your body for the win and that's exactly what i did. Down i went to score and up i did not come, with no victory. I was helped of the field, my leg looked like it was road kill, we lost and i didn't get to play for about 2 weeks after that.

I would like to say i learned my lesson that day and never slide on turf again. But i seem to like to learn things the hard way and 6 years later i still haven't learned. These are my knee's from our game and though they don't look to bad(the picture doesn't do them justice) they hurt like a mother! But we did have a victory.

Needless to say my dad was right, my legs aren't the pretties thing, especially my knees. But all i have to say to him is, It's the life of a forward and I love it!

A Golden Ticket

I'm sure we all remember watching Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. I was singing the golden ticket song the other day and keep repeating the phrase, I've got a golden ticket, I've got a golden ticket, and all the sudden it hit me! Only Charlie and a few other kids got golden tickets in this movie and only one. I remember how everyone wanted to find a golden ticket and how I even wished I could some how receive one, even though I was watching a movie. But I have know realized that I have received my golden ticket along time ago and not only have I received one golden ticket but I have been given many.

Can you guess what the Golden Tickets are?

Here's a hint, not only me or a select few can have them but everyone can have Lots!

One more clue, I was given one when I turned 8.

I love when i find things that just make my heart happy. These things usually consist of me getting really excited and laying in my bed thinking about all the cool ideas i can come up with to make it extremely awsome. My new found love is...... Cake Decorating
I have been watching ace of cakes for a while now and they make the most coolest cakes i have ever seen. But it's just been recently that i have been really excited about making cakes myself. I have not yet attempted this but let me tell you i can't wait, i think my first cake project is going to be operation Brin's wedding cake. I've been trying to convince her that it's going to be amazing, I don't think she is totally convinced yet, good thing I have lots of time to do that.

1. They both have the same handsome squinty blue eyes
2. Which they love to roll at people (you really need to see grandpa do it, it's hilarious)

4. They rarely smile but when they do it's worth a million
5. Selective of when they speak but very quick on the joke draw

It makes me so happy when i find things like this, I guess Isac was meant to be a Dale all a long.

Post-Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a blast except for we didn't get to hold are annual bergie football show down because guess what? We don't have a big grass field to play on any more, i don't think i'm ever going to be happy about that sooo moving on.

Pre-Thanksgiving

Today i get to go HOME hurry! I'm so excited to go home for thanksgiving and see my family and the farm and the wide open spaces, with out all the freakin people every where. Really I'm excited to eat thanksgiving dinner with all our crazy relatives and have are family football game in the morning. Sev and i have to drive all night to get there first but it should be a blast and way worth the long drive. My mom gave us an assignment to keep us awake so that should be all kinds of fun.

Lexie, so with that you could be there to but i will get some good pictures for you so you can feel the love and your baby is so so cute!

How I Love My Magram! Today is my lovely grandma's birthday and i wish i was there to give her a big hug and kiss. I love listening to my grandma's stories, one of them that she likes to tell me is when i was little and any time she would come over i would run to her and say, " Magram, magram." I love when she tells this story because her face always lights up, she laughs, and i can see this far off look in her eyes as she relives the moment. It makes me happy to see how one small memory with me from years ago could still bring her joy.

These are a few of my favorite things, with Magram: pizza party's, bath's with the water all the way to the top, making songs up to everything, bread, service, laughing, flowers, my ammie jam, rhubarb crisp(umm), her stern voice when grandpa got out of hand (Wally), her nac for coming up with dogs names(there's been alot), watching old westerns, walking up the ditch bank to grandma's house we go, swimming in the canel behind her house, having lots of family party's, the sunday farm fast, poems, letters, and knowing no matter what my grandma loved me.

I love that no matter how much time as passed, we always have our memory's to remind us of the good times and know matter how far apart we are, we can still feel the love.

The other night me and sev were watching t.v. and i started doing a punching exercise so he started doing it with me, we had a blast. So i decided to buy a workout video and of course severin got all excited about it and put it right in and started following a long with the lady, let me tell you i have not laughed that hard in a long time. I wish you had all been here to witness his skills or the lack of. I really wish i had got some pictures so you could have seen how ridiculous he look for yourselves. I really love that he's my brother and not affraid to try anything, Punch it out!

And mom i'm holding you to your promise of trying the punch out workout.

I had a birthday and this year was probably the first birthday i have had away from my mom, as i recall. My mom always makes us what ever we want for dinner and are favorite dessert. So this year i decided that i need to grow up and that i could make my own dinner and dessert.

I made the coolest pumpkin i have ever made this year and let me tell you, it was a big hit

Some kids started Sev's and my pumpkin on fire, crazy

My parents have always been their for me, kissing all my tears away when i was little, and giving me hugs just because. Now i have finally moved away from home and how i miss it, what i would give to be wrapped up in my Dad's arms or be laughing and talking to my mom in the kitchen. They have always been there for me and now that im gone i don't want them to miss a thing so i begin the farmers daughter.
